GERARD MANLEY HOPKINS FESTIVAL, SUMMER 2009

JULY 24 to 31, Dr. Axelrod participated in the 22nd Annual Gerard Manley Hopkins International Festival and Summer School, where he was Director of the Young Poets Workshops. 

This year, Dr. Axelrod was awarded the Hopkins Society Award for his work with the program.

This year's paper was entitled: "Hip Hopkins" an attempt to argue that Gerard Manley Hopkins was very much a rapper and hip-hop artist!
