- "The Healing Power of Writing." Introduction to Creative Energy
Balancing. Healing through Writing.
- "Healing the Hurt." Remembering, remarking and recovering from past
ill-health, trauma, loss through Creative Energy Balancing and Writing.
- "Celebrating the Joy." Health, strength, pleasure; your power to
heal yourself and others through Creative Energy Balancing and Writing.
All sessions combine Chinese and holistic healing techniques and Writing
Therapy to focus healing and creative energies. Each day will conclude with a
workshop to coach skills of revision and the craft of writing.

Dr.
Axelrod is author of fifteen books of poems and hundreds of articles. His most
recent of three Fulbright Awards placed him in China for one year to study
with some of their greatest Taoist and Qi Gong healers.
Dr.
Yan Xin, one of China's powerful Qi Gong masters and healers, together with
Dr. Axelrod at a seminar sponsored by Yale and Columbia Universities.
Qi
Gong is an ancient Chinese method of balancing energy and spirit which is
now receiving scientific acclaim for its effectiveness in healing. Dr.
Axelrod has studied with numerous masters of Qi Gong and Oriental philosophy
from Alan Watts and Master Tseng Yun-Xiang, to China's foremost healer, Dr.
Yan Xin. He lectured throughout China on "The Qi of Poetry"
and writing therapy.
