This semester you are asked to send work to the entire email list of students. Thereafter, you should, yourself, pick out at least two students' work to write comments on their work.

We live just a mile or so from the College in Selden. I've been on Long Island since 1969, the year I also started at Suffolk. I guess that makes me a Long Islander but I often feel much more a New Englander (native of Beverly, Massachusetts). Still, this is a good spot to live and work and it is hard not to be a writer when you walk along a Long Island beach! I write every day--a habit that keeps me healthy if not sane! It is not a chat room where personal messages can go out to everyone. Nor should you forward any personal messages to people using our email list. Do not forward any emails that I might send you singly or which are not specifically related to our course assignments. Violation of this rule on using the email list may be grounds for my dropping you from our course!
