We live just a mile or so from the College in Selden. I've been on Long Island since 1969, the year I also started at Suffolk. I guess that makes me a Long Islander but I often feel much more a New Englander (native of Beverly, Massachusetts). Still, this is a good spot to live and work and it is hard not to be a writer when you walk along a Long Island beach! I write every day--a habit that keeps me healthy if not sane! You are encouraged to use the secure Suffolk College email address that the college provides all registered students. Should you provide a personal email address instead, you agree that you are agreeing that your confidentiality may not be protected. That is, presumably, only you have access to your college email. Others may also have access to your personal email (parent, companion, others with your password).
