PLEASE KEEP CHECKING THE NEWS PAGE FOR UP-DATES.

Up-dates will be posted as the course goes along.

June 26: CORRECTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE to you stated requirements. You only are doing two (2) workshops for  your summer semester. Previously, some pages said four were due but that was left over from a full, 15-week term when students have more time to complete workshops. When you review  your requirements, you will see that your grade will be the average of three required essays and your two workshop comments.

June 3: Today I sent an email to our complete class list. Did you get it? If not, you'd better email me to figure out why information didn't reach you. The course runs on your and I exchanging emails. We need to get it right!  Also, please go to the Students link when you need to send out your first essay. Thereafter, you will pick two fellow students to send your workshop comments on their own first essay.

Email address to be used in our workshop part of the course should be posted as they come in. Folks see that the course doesn't open officially until a certain date and postpone to that date or even later! There will be some stragglers, drops and adds. Please be patient. You should have your list on the student page soon.

As you read through your links, don't forget, I give extra credit if you tell me any typos you find. You'd need to make a note of exactly what link and what line has an error so I can correct things.

Feeling a bit confused about how to take your on-line class?  Don't be. If you have found this news link you are well on the way to success. Just read through the links. They make up your "text" for the class. Patience! You'll get the hang of it...

Have you emailed me to confirm your enrollment and provide your email address to be listed on the student page? All new students, please do so immediately. I have 4 on-line courses so it is important that you label emails to me, RE: ENG 201.

NOTE: If you are unhappy about your ID picture on the student page, please scan and send me a headshot as a jpeg to substitute for your school picture.
